American Gods by Neil Gaiman

It's the story of modern day gods, who sprung from the car and the telephone who battle the gods of the old countries.

It's moving, it's provocative, it won some awards. It's the kind of book that you can put down, but are glad to pick back up again.

Good book, worth your time.
